WILL THE LANGUAGE(S) I SPEAK BE COUNTED?

When you filled out the short form, you may have noticed that there was no question that asks what language or languages you speak. How will we know if Chicago is still a MULTILINGUAL CITY?
The answer is that one out of every 40 persons in the United States will be given a longer questionnaire after completing the short form. This longer census form will include a question about the language or languages spoken in your household. Be sure yours gets counted!
